Discover the Unseen Truth About Your Finances: It’s Not God’s Will for You to Live in Lack!
Are you tired of the financial pressure, the constant feeling of “never enough,” and doors that consistently close on your opportunities? What if the lack you’ve been experiencing isn’t your destiny, isn’t “just the way things are,” and most certainly isn’t from God? At TaughtToProfit, I am unveiling a powerful Biblical truth that the Church often overlooks: financial oppression is a work of the devil, and Jesus came to destroy it! Just as Jesus healed “all that were oppressed of the devil” from sickness and disease (Acts 10:38), He also came to set you free from financial bondage.
This comprehensive teaching explores the powerful truth that oppression extends far beyond physical ailments. To oppress means to weigh down, to hold under, to keep pressed beneath something. While sickness weighs down the body, financial lack weighs down a life, limiting your potential, hindering your ability to bless others, and preventing you from walking in your full purpose in Christ Jesus. Just as the woman bound by Satan for eighteen years needed to be loosed (Luke 13:16), so too can financial hardship bind individuals, bowing them over and restricting their lives. I delve into John 10:10, where Jesus reveals the thief’s agenda: “to steal, and to kill, and to destroy,” contrasting it with His divine mission to bring “life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” The act of “stealing” is a financial term, clearly indicating the enemy’s intent to drain and impoverish those who allow his works in their lives.
God’s desire for you is not lack, but overflowing abundance! I meticulously stack powerful Scriptures to establish God’s unwavering will for your prosperity. From 2 Corinthians 8:9, you will uncover the divine exchange: “though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” This means poverty was the price He paid, and riches are the result He purchased for you. Leaving this exchange unclaimed is to settle for less than your inheritance in Christ. Proverbs 10:22 declares, “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it,” distinguishing God’s pure, trouble-free riches from the often sorrow-laden wealth of the world. 3 John 2 emphasizes, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth,” placing prosperity and health as paramount desires of God. Psalm 35:27 reveals that the Lord “hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant,” confirming that your abundance is His delight. I also explore Philippians 4:19, promising that “my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus,” and 2 Corinthians 9:8, assuring that “God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.” These verses paint a picture of overflow, not mere survival.
The core of this revelation lies in 1 John 3:8: “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” Is financial lack a work of God or a work of the devil? By tracing the enemy’s agenda to steal, oppress, and bind, and contrasting it with God’s pleasure in your prosperity and His desire to make you rich, it becomes undeniably clear: hardship and poverty are the oppressor’s handiwork, and Jesus was manifested to destroy them. You must never attribute your lack to God’s will; He sent His Son to undo it!
Furthermore, this teaching highlights that you have already been redeemed out of financial curse and into blessing. Galatians 3:13-14 teaches that “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law… That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ…” Poverty belongs to the curse; Christ redeemed you into the blessing of Abraham, who was “very rich.” Deuteronomy 8:18 reinforces this, stating that “it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant…” Financial freedom is part of your covenant inheritance, not a distraction from it.
Finally, I empower you with the practical Biblical strategy for victory, as revealed in Revelation 12:11: “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony…” The finished work of the Blood of Jesus purchased your victory, but your testimony, what you consistently declare as true about your finances, is how you give voice to and enforce that victory. Are you testifying of God’s Word for your abundance or to the enemy’s lies of lack? Learn to align your words with the Blood, and actively overcome financial oppression by speaking God’s promises over your life.
Stop accepting lack as “normal” or “God’s plan.” Name it for what it is: oppression. Agree with God’s Word, receive what Christ already purchased, and walk in the expectancy of financial freedom. The Anointing that healed the sick is the same Anointing that breaks every oppression, including the financial kind. You were never meant to live bowed down under the oppressor’s works. There is no limitation to you in Christ!
